Today, 14 March, marks the 10th anniversary of Chiara Lubich’s passing. We publish a short video showing her extraordinary life: from the little city of Trent, in the north of Italy, right up to “the very ends of the earth”. It illustrates her discovery of God as Love, during World War II, and the development of a spirituality of communion suited to today’s times, fruit of the gift of the charism of unity for the Church and humanity.
A teacher and ex- national hockey player, together with the Focolare community in Mumbai to which she belongs, gathers families and young people giving them the hope of a better future.

Study camps and workshops were held over a three-month period by young people of the Focolare Movement in various parts of the world during which they devoted space and time to contribute to the transformation of their own cities.
Video of Chiara Lubich’s message to all those who were in Nairobi on the occasion of the laying of the foundation stone of the newly created little town dedicated to Piero Pasolini.
