On July 21, 2017 a magnitude 6.7 earthquake hit the Island of Kos, Greece, the city of Bodrun, Turkey, along with the southern Turkish coast and nearby Greek islands. There was also the start of a tsunami. At the moment two people are dead and more than 200 wounded. The Focolare Movement offers its support to the affected regions and is close to the relatives of the victims.
