Dublin Community went walking on St. Patrick’s Day

Dublin Community enjoy being together on a briskly biting morning, 17th March 2014

On a cold and cloudy St. Patrick’s morning about 12 of the Dublin Focolare gang met in the upper car park of beautiful Marlay Park to join in the annual charity walk in aid of the Sisters of the Assumptions projects in South America. There were 2 options: a 10k walk for the brave and a gentle circuit (or two!) of the park. Joe and Brian went for the 10k and the rest of us set off at some speed! We soon warmed up and had precious moments to share some of our lives and strengthen bonds of unity ‘on the move’. Some say the best part was the hot coffee and cakes in the park’s cafe afterwards! Next Dublin Community event is the Word of Life Meeting in Ramleh CLose Focolare on 26th March.
