Inter-religious dialogue at Liverpool Hope University
The joint UK and Ireland summer gathering of Focolare took place at Liverpool Hope University from 28th July to 2nd August with the title “Signs of Hope”. Each day explored aspects of Hope: Hope for Community, Hope for Everyone, Hope for our World, Hope for tomorrow and Hope for dialogue, a morning dedicated to inter-religious dialogue. Speakers were Muslim scholar Dr.Mohammad Shomali, Hindu leader Dr. Puri and Roman Catholic Bishop Brendan Leahy.
