Jesus in our midst
"Where two or three are gathered in my name,
there I am in the midst of them" (Mt.18,20).
"Jesus in our midst"
is fully present if we are united
in His name,
that is in Him, in His will,
in reciprocal love.
His presence gives meaning
and life to our
being together in a community.
It is a presence which brings joy,
that fullness of joy
which He Himself promised (Jn.17,13)
It is Christ among us who brings unity,
and wherever there is unity people believe:
"May they all be one, so that the world may believe" (Jn.17,21).
Christ converts the world
He among His people united in His name.
