This year, the Southwest Mariapolis kicks off with a special July 4th barbecue at 6:00 p.m. following arrivals!

  • Registration will be on July 4th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Check-out will be on July 7th after 9:00 a.m.
  • The program includes presentations and experiences on living the spirituality of unity in everyday life; prayer; recollection; sharing; games; and outdoor activities.
  • Children and Teens follow parallel activities which allow them to participate fully in the Mariapolis and make their own unique contribution to it.
  • Nursery facilities for children age 3 and under will be provided.
  • Young people 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Translations – Please indicate on the registration form if Spanish translation will be needed.
  • Dormitory registration – Everyone should bring his/her own linens, including sheets, towels, a pillow and a blanket. Beds are twin size extra long.
  • Deposit for keys – You are asked to bring a check of $50.00 (per key), made out to Concordia University, as a deposit for your keys. Your check will be returned to you when you return the keys at the end of the Mariapolis.
  • Please note the Early Bird Special for registrations postmarked by May 24, 2013.

Due to the limited number of rooms provided by Concordia University, accommodations in the dorms will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Each suite is equipped with two single beds and can accommodate, at most, four people; two for the single beds and two sleeping bags for minors on the floor. A family of five or more will need to reserve an additional suite(s) at the regular room rate. Please include this amount in your payment.

Should on campus accommodations no longer be available, or should participant(s) prefer Hotel accommodations, reservation and payment with the Hotel are the participant’s responsibility. A list of hotels in the area is provided below for your convenience.

Terms of payment:

  • A 50% down payment of the total is due by May 24, 2013 [For a family of four or more, a minimum of $200 is due].
  • Please remit payment with completed registration form. Incomplete registration forms will not be accepted.
  • Please clearly state the date and time of arrival since this affects the total amount of payment.
  • Registrations made after May 24th will be accepted depending on availability of space.
  • The balance is due by June 21, 2013.
  • A full refund is available if a written cancellation request is received before June 21, 2013.
  • Your cancelled check is your receipt.
