Pasquale Foresi – more familiarly known as Chiaretto – the first focolarino priest and co-founder of the Focolare Movement, died on 14th June. Our memories of him are full of affection and gratitude. The funeral will be held on Thursday, 18 June at 3.30 pm (Italian time) at the Focolare Movement’s International Centre in Rocca d Papa. It can be followed streaming.

Children and the real Christmas story

“Jesus is the greatest gift of all”: with this spirit, thousands of children throughout the world remind us that “Jesus has been dislodged,” and invite us to make him once again the focus of Christmas. In St. Peter’s Square on 20 December, there will be a Children’s Jubilee with the blessing of their statues of Baby Jesus.

An exhibition held in support of victims in war-torn countries. It consists of a wall composed of handmade tiles which can be lifted off and taken home. Joelma Regis, the project creator, explains: “We are all connected and together we can help tear down the walls of indifference in our everyday lives.”
