When they meet together, the youngest generation experience the joy of trying to put love first. Through means most suitable for them – stories, games, audiovisuals, skits – they get to know Jesus more  and strive to put the words of the Gospel into practice, sharing their experiences with each other.

Through the Movement they come in contact with children and adults of different nations, cultures and religions. At an early age they already experience what it means to be all children of the One Father and are thus naturally predisposed to an open perspective.

From July 22 to August 6, twenty-one Midwest Focolare youth, along with five chaperones, attended the festivities and activities of World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland, which included a one week youth school entitled, You Got Me. The post WYD school was held in Jasna, Slovakia, sponsored by the Youth for a United World of the Focolare Movement.
