Guidelines for the Protection of Minors

While shouldering its responsibility to prevent and avoid any form of abuse against minors during all its activities, the Focolare Movement felt the need to update its guidelines to ensure the promotion of the well-being of children and adolescents. These guidelines are necessary to promote awareness and to coordinate an effective response in all Focolare communities present in the various countries of the world. The National Centres are entrusted with the responsibility of adapting these guidelines to the respective cultural and juridical realities, while implementing the principles proclaimed by the International Law on the protection of minors.
