It will also include videos from the international conference<strong> &#8220;Economy of Communion: a New Paradigm for African Development&#8221;<\/strong>, hosted at the <strong>Catholic University of Eastern Africa<\/strong> (CUEA), from January 26-28, 2011.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.edc-online.org\/home\/events-in-italy\/1453-sergio-gironella-la-persona-al-centro.html?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sergio Gironella: the person at the center<\/a><\/strong><br \/> On Sunday, February 13, Sergio Gironella left us. He was a founding associate of the EoC cooperative\u00a0Il Sentiero Servizi of Macerata: <em>&#8220;Last Sunday, <\/em><strong><em>Sergio Gironella<\/em><\/strong><em>, 47, father of 4 children, left us when his illness unexpectedly <\/em> w<em>orsened,&#8221; <\/em><strong>Romano Ruffini<\/strong>, who in 1994 invited him to participate in the EoC adventure, told us.\u00a0<em>&#8220;That year, we had spoken to Sergio about the Economy of Communion, and he, who belonged to the\u00a0Neocatechumenal Way, was fascinated by Chiara&#8217;s message, and he decided to leave the job he had to\u00a0found the cooperative Il Sentiero Servizi with me, in Macerata. I have to say that at that time, we still had no promise of success, so his decision was truly a leap in the dark.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.edc-online.org\/en\/home\/international-events\/1454-francia-scuola-di-formazione-per-imprenditori-edc.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">School of Formation for French EoC entrepreneurs<\/a><br \/> February 12 and 13 , in the Mariapolis in Arny, was the\u00a0School of Formation for French EoC entrepreneurs. <strong>Twenty-nine people, 24 businesses represented and many youth (even a group of children), all together to live a weekend of formation and communion<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.edc-online.org\/en\/home\/events-in-brazil\/1450-brasile-sao-paulo-29052011-iscrizioni-online.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Brazil &#8211; Sao Paulo, 29\/05\/2011: online      registration!<\/strong><\/a><br \/> On May 29, 2011, the EoC turns 20!\u00a0Online registration for the      event by May 20, 2011. At the end of four days of work of the first      International Assembly of the Economy of Communion, on the occasion o fhte      20th anniversary of the project&#8217;s beginning, the<strong> Memorial America      Latina <\/strong>will host a large EoC manifestation: the <strong>Open Day of the      EoC&#8217;s 20th Anniversary<\/strong>.
