Launched into infinity <\/strong><\/p>\n

The saints are great men and women<\/p>\n

who, having seen their greatness in the Lord,<\/p>\n

risk for God, as his children,<\/p>\n

everything that is theirs.<\/p>\n

They give, demanding nothing.<\/p>\n

They give their life, their soul, their joy,<\/p>\n

every earthly bond, every richness.<\/p>\n

Free and alone,<\/p>\n

launched into infinity,<\/p>\n

they wait for Love to bring them<\/p>\n

into the eternal kingdom; but, already in this life,<\/p>\n

they feel their hearts fill with love,<\/p>\n

true love, the only love<\/p>\n

that satisfies, that consoles,<\/p>\n

that love which shatters<\/p>\n

the eyelids of the soul and gives<\/p>\n

new tears.<\/p>\n

Ah, no one knows who a saint is!<\/p>\n

He or she has given and now receives,<\/p>\n

and an endless flow<\/p>\n

passes between heaven and earth,<\/p>\n

joins earth to heaven,<\/p>\n

and filters from the depths<\/p>\n

rare ecstasy, celestial sap<\/p>\n

that does not stop at the saint,<\/p>\n

but flows over the tired, the mortal,<\/p>\n

the blind and paralyzed in soul,<\/p>\n

and breaks through and refreshes,<\/p>\n

comforts and attracts and saves.<\/p>\n
