{"id":305948,"date":"2018-03-05T16:26:00","date_gmt":"2018-03-05T15:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/social-one-social-sciences-in-dialogue\/"},"modified":"2024-05-15T20:36:34","modified_gmt":"2024-05-15T18:36:34","slug":"social-one-social-sciences-in-dialogue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/social-one-social-sciences-in-dialogue\/","title":{"rendered":"Social-One: Social Sciences in dialogue"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Department of Political, Social and Communication Sciences of the University of Salerno and the Social-One research network<\/strong>, under the auspices of the Sociological Theories and Social Transformations Section of the Italian Association of Sociology (AIS) and in partnership with 11 universities and research institutes in Italy and worldwide, promote the<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/20180302_Evento-Convegno-Social-One-locandina_it.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">conference<\/a> &#8220;Sociological Imagination and Social Promotion: the category of \u201cagapic action\u201d to interpret the changes and to imagine new futures\u201d.<\/strong>  <span lang=\"EN\">The aim of the conference is to investigate all the perspectives of analysis and action which have been raised by the members of the agapic action in the context of human and social disciplines with the hypothesis that the concept may offer new interpretations and perspectives of interventions for the promotion of a pluralistic society based on equality, inclusiveness and particularly dialogue<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">.<\/span>  The conference focuses on four areas, which will be analyzed both from the scientific and academic point of view within the panels, and from the point of view of action-intervention, through the collection of best practices, which will be exhibited within of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.social-one.org\/en\/download\/italiano\/294-call-for-social-expo-en-1.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Social Expo<\/a>. The areas are:  1) Protagonist communities, sharing cultures and grassroots movements 2) Cooperation and dialogue in the field of macro-social actions 3) Relationships, inclusion and well-being in social policies 4) Plurality, dialogue and identity processes  Official languages in plenary sessions: Italian, English, Spanish.
