So exclaims a child in front of the Paschal candle.<\/p>\n

We can feel the nails.<\/p>\n

But can we see the Light?<\/p>\n

And what about us … do we give out light?<\/p>\n

We are nailed<\/p>\n

to ourselves and to others;<\/p>\n

to our time and our responsibilities.<\/p>\n

The Holy One has allowed himself to be nailed to our cross.<\/p>\n

And it was from there that he come down.<\/p>\n

He was nailed right up until he died.<\/p>\n

In this way he became light for everyone;<\/p>\n

that light which penetrates closed doors.<\/p>\n

He is risen<\/strong><\/p>\n

and shows the signs of the nails.<\/p>\n

Light which was nailed.<\/p>\n

We feel the nails.<\/p>\n

But can we see the Light? And what about us … do we give light?<\/p>\n
