{"id":327856,"date":"2015-12-18T13:06:46","date_gmt":"2015-12-18T12:06:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/11th-school-of-inculturation-in-nairobi-kenya\/"},"modified":"2024-05-16T15:02:25","modified_gmt":"2024-05-16T13:02:25","slug":"11th-school-of-inculturation-in-nairobi-kenya","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/11th-school-of-inculturation-in-nairobi-kenya\/","title":{"rendered":"11th School of Inculturation in Nairobi, Kenya"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 11th edition of <strong>the School of Inculturation<\/strong> will be held in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/focolare-worldwide\/africa\/kenya\/\">Kenya<\/a> at the Mariapolis Piero, from 17 to 23 May 2016. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/news\/2014\/09\/15\/maria-voce\/\">Maria Voce<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/news\/2014\/09\/17\/jesus-moran-cepedano\/\">Jes\u00fas Mor\u00e1n<\/a> will also attend.  <strong>In May 2016 the \u201cMariapolis Piero\u201d in Kenya<\/strong>, close to Nairobi \u2013 will host the 11th edition of the School of Inculturation, a reality which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/chiara-lubich\/chi-e-chiara\/\">Chiara Lubich<\/a> prophetically foresaw. The 250 or more delegates from Sub-Saharian Africa will focus on the theme, \u201cThe African Family,\u201d and will reflect on the relationships of \u201cman-woman\u201d in their roles and responsibilities in family life, and the challenge of educating towards values. It will be held as part of the Pan-African meeting of the continent\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/movimento-dei-focolari\/un-popolo\/famiglie-nuove\/\">New Families<\/a>. The national commission will present the speeches and dissertations that will trace the roots of the cultures, to be demonstrated through the concrete experiences of men and women who have embraced the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/chiara-lubich\/spiritualita-dellunita\/\">charism of unity<\/a>. There are great expectations and a particular joy in knowing that Maria Voce and Jes\u00fas Mor\u00e1n, President and Co-President, respectively, will attend together with some central councilors.
