{"id":329356,"date":"2017-07-21T00:10:52","date_gmt":"2017-07-20T22:10:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/from-hell-to-artists-of-hope\/"},"modified":"2024-05-16T15:07:54","modified_gmt":"2024-05-16T13:07:54","slug":"from-hell-to-artists-of-hope","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/from-hell-to-artists-of-hope\/","title":{"rendered":"From Hell to Artists of Hope"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-154891\" src=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Gen-Rosso-2.jpg\" alt=\"Gen Rosso 2\" width=\"317\" height=\"211\" \/>\u201cEvery life has hope.\u201d This is the recurring theme of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fazenda.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Fazenda da Esperan\u00e7a<\/a> in all of its locations around the world.<\/strong>  \u201cWe\u2019ve seen and lived through hell, but during these days we\u2019ve been changed into artists.\u201d This was one of the statements gathered during an exchange of experiences at the conclusion of the five days of work that included two presentations of<a href=\"http:\/\/www.genrosso.com\/index.php?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> \u201cCampus \u2013 The Musical\u201d.<\/a>  <strong>A hundred and ten young people from Fazenda da Esperan\u00e7a and from Puglia, southern Italy, were prepared in workshops on dance, voice, theatre and percussion to then go out on stage with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.genrosso.com\/index.php?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gen Rosso<\/a><\/strong> at the Fasano city Kennedy Theatre for several scenes of Campus, last 7th and 8th of July.  \u201cWe had to learn it fast and well in spite of the heat and our own limitations.\u201d The motto helped: Welcome the different. There were people from 15 countries, from different cultures, age groups and backgrounds&#8230;\u201d  <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-154893 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Gen-Rosso-1.jpg\" alt=\"Gen Rosso 1\" width=\"311\" height=\"208\" \/>Our adrenaline was really pumping just as we got on stage to give the best of ourselves, while fear and worry seemed to disappear as we encouraged each another. Several said: \u201cWe felt a strength from above that was supporting us and instilling faith in ourselves.\u201d \u201cThe thing I learned was never to stop during the show because of a mistake: this made me think a lot. I\u2019ll carry this into my daily life, always continuing on in spite of the failures.\u201d  <strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-154896\" src=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/Gen-Rosso-3.jpg\" alt=\"Gen Rosso 3\" width=\"312\" height=\"191\" \/>The inauguration of a new Fazenda da Esperan\u00e7a was held on Sunday, July 9, in Monopoli<\/strong>. It was attended by civil and religious leaders, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.genrosso.com\/index.php?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gen Rosso<\/a> and a group of 60 youth \u201cmissionaries\u201d from the Fazende, who came from around the world, together with their founders.
