{"id":342056,"date":"2013-06-25T04:00:13","date_gmt":"2013-06-25T02:00:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/gen-verde-youth-project\/"},"modified":"2024-06-06T12:09:37","modified_gmt":"2024-06-06T10:09:37","slug":"gen-verde-youth-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/en\/gen-verde-youth-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Gen Verde: Youth project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/20130625-01.jpg\"><img alt=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-87980 alignleft\" style=\"margin-right: 10px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/20130625-01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"358\" height=\"239\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>A workshop of dance, percussion, song and theatre. <\/strong>A new show by the Gen Verde Musical Group engages young people in workshops in which they are directly involved with the artists in the staging and performance.<\/p>\n<p>On June 13-15, 2013, forty-eight young people from Tuscany and abroad were welcomed by the <strong>town of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loppiano.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Loppiano<\/a><\/strong>, Italy, which is home to the musical group and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pololionellobonfanti.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lionello Industrial Park<\/a>.\u00a0 The young people were invited to be active players in the mounting and performing of the new show.<\/p>\n<p>One young woman from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.genverde.it\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gen Verde<\/a> commented: <strong>\u201cThe artistic disciplines <\/strong>naturally raise you to another level of communication through which deep and unexpected relationships can be born, creating dialogue in an encouraging atmosphere of sharing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other members of the group went on to say: \u201cThe joy that was bursting from everyone\u2019s eyes also derived from the discovery that you are able to give much more than you often expect from yourself.
