Inspired by the Canticle of the Creatures, the poem written by Saint Francis, a project was born here that is changing the way we relate to the planet: <strong>ASSISI Terra Laudato S\u00ec<\/strong> (ATLS). Inaugurated on 22nd April 2024, ATLS is not a place made of bricks, but a true <strong>\u201cecosystem\u201d<\/strong> where we can meet, recharge our spiritual batteries and put our commitment to our common home into practice.  <\/p>\n\n<p>This significant project is founded on the four inseparable dimensions of integral ecology identified by Pope Francis: care for nature, justice for the poor, engagement in society and inner peace. It is a contemporary response to the call we feel to \u201cgo and repair our common home.\u201d <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img alt=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2045\" height=\"836\" src=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/copertina-pellegrinaggio-e1765884238316.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-393058\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/copertina-pellegrinaggio-e1765884238316.jpg 2045w, https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/copertina-pellegrinaggio-e1765884238316-1280x720.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/copertina-pellegrinaggio-e1765884238316-980x551.jpg 980w, https:\/\/www.focolare.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/copertina-pellegrinaggio-e1765884238316-480x270.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) and (max-width: 1280px) 1280px, (min-width: 1281px) 2045px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n<p><strong>The Ecosystem of Volunteering: Laudato S\u00ec and Focolare in Action<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>ASSISI Terra Laudato S\u00ec offers an intensive programme of <strong>Laudato S\u00ec Retreats<\/strong> and, above all, a Volunteer <strong>Programme <\/strong>that enables people to live an immersive experience by offering their time to others. The activities are animated by a shared desire and a strong spirit of \u201csynodal\u201d exchange among the various partners. <\/p>\n\n<p>An example of this collaboration comes from the Focolare Movement, confirming an important charismatic partnership. Cristina Calvo, an Argentinian <em>focolarina<\/em>, volunteered for 40 days, actively participating in the methodology and content of ATLS.
