International performing group Gen Verde will soon be arriving in the UK on the next stage of their European tour. Sally McAllister works with the group both artistically and supporting the practical elements of the tour. One of the seven workshops that were held in Tagaytay, the town of the Focolare in the Philippines, after Genfest 2018 in Manila. A thousand young people attended to deepen among many others, the themes of Economy, Ecology, Sociology and other choices in life.[more]
The eleventh edition of the Genfest has just come to its end. The 6,000 young people present, from more than 100 countries worldwide, launched their project: “Pathways Pathways for a United World”: ways and means of bringing individuals and people together to contribute building fraternal relationships in the fields of economy, justice, politics, environment, intercultural and interreligious dialogue.[more]

The personal testimony of someone who was present at Genfest 1975, held in conjunction with the Holy Year in Rome. There were 20,000 young people, from all 5 continents, gathered at Palaeur Stadium. Chiara Lubich presented them to Pope Paul VI: “A new world is born.”[more]

Loppiano and Nomadelfia are awaiting the visit of Pope Francis this coming 10 May. The community of Catholic volunteers founded by Fr. Zeno Saltini, with which the Focolare shares the vision of fraternity and unity of the human family, visited the Focolare Centre in Rocca di Papa.[more]
