ANNUAL SUMMER GATHERING… WHAT’S THAT?
We have talks and walks, reflections, workshops and outings, all the while making connections.
We’ll see how “Mercy matters” in areas such as Family Life, Ecumenical Dialogue, the World of
Business, Climate Justice, the Refugee Crisis, Homelessness, and Health and Wellbeing. This happens
through the sharing of stories and experiences that make up the real fabric of the event. Interactions
during the breaks, meals and workshops, give participants the chance to share their own unique
understandings and experience of mercy.
WHY GO?
This is the place where we hope to be inspired together to take concrete action on these key issues
when we go home so that we can translate what we have lived into our places of work, our homes, our
parishes and communities.

KEY NOTE SPEAKERS:

DR. LORNA GOLD
(Head of Policy and Advocacy at Trocaire) works on a broad range of policy issues in Ireland and internationally. Writes extensively on climate justice and global economic and social development.

BARONESS NUALA O’LOAN
is a renowned speaker on the issues of justice, human rights, reconciliation and peace with particular skills in negotiating ways of resolving conflict.
