A conference in Genoa for administrators and citizens, who together seek the common good.

The City Association for Fraternity, the Movement for Unity in Politics and the New Humanity Movement, in collaboration with the Municipality of Genoa, are organizing this three-day conference in which meetings, debates and other activities are to be held. These three realities get their inspiration from the message of Chiara Lubich, foundress of the Focolare Movement, and they have been actively collaborating between them for quite some time, working together in cities and in various initiatives.

The giving of the international award “ Chiara Lubich for fraternity” took place on the 30th November at 17.40 in the Red Room of Palazzo Tursi. It was the fouth edition of this event.

On the two following days, 1st and 2nd December, the conference unfolds in three sessions:

The City and fraternity

The City and its challenges

The City and participation

In each session municipal administrators, officials and ordinary citizens are confronted with guidelines and good practices that have emerged from the commitment to give life to the political principle of fraternity in many cities.
