Preparing for Christmas together in Dublin

An invitation from the Focolare Community in Dublin: On Saturday 12th December, 2.30 pm – 5 pm, in the Parish Hall of SS Columbanus and Gall, Milltown, we will gather together in proximity of Christmas. We hope you can join us and we would love to see you there.

8389166408_3d1d0b4b48_zWe also wanted to let you know about our new initiative – Care Packages for Christmas which we are doing in conjunction with the Peter McVerry Trust in aid of the Homeless.

The profile of those who are sleeping on the streets are young men and women roughly between 18yrs -30yrs and we were informed by the Peter McVerry Trust that some essential items of personal care and some small treats would be really appreciated by their clients.

We are inviting anyone who like to donate some items to bring them along on Saturday.
If you think you would like to make your own Care Package then it would help if you could pop the items into clear sandwich/zip-lock bags or similar, as they are really handy for putting the items into.

We were also told that it would help if the packs could be separated into male/female if possible.
