As is well known, on the 7th of June, Pope Francis underwent surgery at the Gemelli Hospital in Rome. The Pope is "in a generally good condition" and is peaceful. He is thankful for the messages of solidarity that are being sent to him from all over the world and asks people to continue praying for him.
