Be generous towards the needy
A conference entitled, “A Mediterranean without Borders: Peoples Connected in a Network for Fraternity”, organized by the Focolare Movement, took place in Palermo, Italy, from Wednesday 7th-Sunday 11th October.
Through applied research, meetings and public initiatives, this interdisciplinary forum aims to explore the universal vocation of this city and its significance not only for those living in the Holy Land, but for the whole human family.
Who is the other person for me? Who is the “stranger” to welcome? This month’s Word of Life invites us to ask ourselves questions and to respond to the call for empathy and concrete action.
