A dream of peace and fraternity to be realised for all the people on earth is in the words of Margaret Karram, President of the Focolare Movement, her wish of hope for this Christmas and the New Year about to begin.
Take fraternity wherever there is division
The city as a privileged place for building fraternal relationships open to the world is one of the central themes of the event held on 22nd January 2026, at the Focolare Meeting Point in Rome where the exhibition “If I look at this Rome…” dedicated to Chiara Lubich is underway.
The ‘Pre-Assembly Process’ is currently underway in preparation for the General Assembly of the Focolare Movement, which will begin on the 1st of March 2026 in Castel Gandolfo (Italy) with the participation of representatives chosen from different geographical areas, branches and movements; the members by right (those who are part of the current government, the General Council and Zone Delegates in the geographical areas), and those invited by the President.
A friendship that links the two hemispheres and shows how goodness can set in motion a virtuous circle capable of reaching unexpected recipients and making them happy.
