Educa is a project that has offered 25 young people in Guatemala training in computer programming and web design. Some of the scholarship holders come from indigenous ethnic groups and want to put the technical skills they have acquired at the service especially of the women in their communities. On 26th June, 2025, Giulio Ciarrocchi returned to the house of Father. Giulio was a married focolarino who together with his wife, Pina, worked at the Secretariat of New Families from 1079-2014. In this excerpt from the “Catholic Revolt”, Igino Giordani wrote almost an invocation, a poetic appeal that compels us to look up and opens our eyes to who our brother is, that brother who may be labelled as an enemy, as a foreigner, as a migrant, but is always a brother. It is an appeal written back in 1925, that still touches our deepest chords and challenges us to be builders of peace.
