Idea of the month - October 2025
Peace is an urgent necessity: condemnation of all wars and a commitment to peace, justice and dignity for all peoples is expressed in the appeal by the leadership of the Focolare Movement gathered in Castel Gandolfo (Rome) for their annual meeting.
Today, 26 September 2025, Margaret Karram and Jesús Morán were received by Pope Leo XIV.
The goal: to cooperate in building a more united world, inspired by Jesus’ prayer to the Father
“may they all be one” (Jn 17:21),
respecting and valuing diversity.
The Movement, which started in the Catholic Church,
includes Christians of different Churches and ecclesial communities. It collaborates with members of other religions and people of non-religious beliefs.
