The first Latin American gathering for dialogue with Indigenous peoples took place in Ecuador, aiming to discover, share, and honour ancestral knowledge in a spirit of fraternity and a shared pursuit of unity.
The goal: to cooperate in building a more united world, inspired by Jesus’ prayer to the Father
“may they all be one” (Jn 17:21),
respecting and valuing diversity.
The Movement, which started in the Catholic Church,
includes Christians of different Churches and ecclesial communities. It collaborates with members of other religions and people of non-religious beliefs.
