A critical look at contemporary society and culture has motivated the youth of the Mariapolis Lia to propose a 2013 version of the “Youthfest”. The invitation to the one thousand who were present during the weekend of the 28th and the 29th of September: to realize “great things” in life.

2013 marks the 50th anniversary since the spirituality of unity began to spread in Africa. The first event was held on February 9th in Fontem, a village in Cameroon. Chiara herself tells the story in a talk to a group of men religious.
