In 1988 a group of young people of the Focolare, suddenly became bakers and sold bread on the road outside the Ginetta Mariapolis in Brazil. Thirty years later, the Golden Grain is a successful activity making good quality produce with love, human kindness and the will to share.

New Course: embodying synodality in the realities in which we live
Beginning on 3rd November, 2025, for the fourth year in a row, the Evangelii Gaudium Centre (CEG) of the Sophia University Institute will offer a synodality training course on synodality entitled “Practices for a Synodal Church”.
