Buiding Community Together – Open Day Saturday 7th April
For the first time the Focolare Movement, which began in the midst of the conflict of World War II will be hosting its all–Ireland annual gathering in Belfast to explore local projects and hear from some expert speakers how to build community together. A few days before the 20th Anniversary of the Belfast Peace Agreement more than 100 people from the Republic of Ireland are arriving in Belfast to join Building Community Together.

This year has seen many ecumenical milestones that have marked significant historical events in relations between Churches who have centuries of conflict and divisions behind them.
We can now say “behind” because recent events have shown that Christians are now paving the way forward together onto new ground.
