On 7th December 2023, the Focolare Movement marks 80 years since Chiara Lubich said a “Yes” to God which gave rise to a worldwide Movement that has touched millions of people. At the time, Chiara was totally unaware of what would happen. The evocative story of her journey from her home to the Church and back again has been told many times since that day. This December Margaret Karram and the members of the Movement’s General Council will be honoured by an audience with Pope Francis. The day will be celebrated in a variety of ways across the globe. In Belfast a Mass followed by a light lunch will take place at 12 noon in the Holy Family Church on the Limestone Road. All welcome, further info from focolare.belfast@focolare.org
