Join us for our Spring Gathering in Dungarvan from 4th to 7th April 2024 to explore how we are called to love, called to live as one.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE FOCOLARE SPRING GATHERING?
Focolare spring and summer gatherings have been happening all over the world since the 1940s when foundress Chiara Lubich and her followers started to holiday together in the Dolomites in Northern Italy. This gathering became known as ‘Mariapolis’ or City of Mary and combined opportunities for reflection and sharing with recreation and relaxation.
Content-rich mornings with parallel programmes for children and teenagers, feature talks and life stories based on this year’s theme, ‘Called to love, called to live as one’.
Afternoons are about fun and activities, alternating outings to local beauty spots with a variety of workshops for all the family.
Evenings are for relaxation and craic! Open mic, entertainment night or a simple drink in the bar – it’s all on offer. If you play a musical instrument, bring it along. Singers are welcome to join the choir, or to perform musical interludes during the morning programmes.
Beyond the programme and activities, the ‘Focolare Spring Gathering’ is a coming together of people of all ages, backgrounds and religions to form a new city, a new family, based on mutual respect and love.

COST OF ACCOMMODATION
• Self-Catering Lodges
Each lodge has 4 rooms (3 with a double bed and 1 with a double and a single bed).
The cost for the lodge is €775. Lodges can be shared by families or by individuals or couples at a cost of €195 per room.
• Self-Catering Cottages
Each cottage has 3 rooms (2 with a double and single bed and 1 with a double bed).
The cost for the cottage is €625. Cottages can be shared by families or by individuals or couples at a cost of €208 per room.
Due to refurbishment, no accommodation is available in the hotel.
