Irish teens set off for weeklong ‘World Citizens Camp’ in Argentina
A group of nineteen teenagers and five accompanying adults will represent Ireland at a weeklong World Citizens Camp in Argentina which begins Monday 14th July 2014.
The teens joined other teenagers from Dublin, Northern Ireland, Limerick, Kildare, Meath and Tipperary on Friday (11th July) at Dublin airport, and in high spirits, set off on the long trip to Argentina just in time for the World Cup finals! On Saturday 12th they, visited the Irish embassy in Buenos Aires.

This video was produced by the young people of the Focolare in Northern Ireland. Conleth – one of the makers writes: “sometimes our words are not enough – after all a picture says a thousand words!” The video tries to explain what a Mariapolis (the summer gathering of the Focolare) is.
