Dungarvan woman rallies friends, businesses and local communities to send two trailer loads of aid to Focolare centre in the Philippines devastated by super typhoon Haiyan.
Audrey Hallahan was horrified by the images of devastation in the Philippines as a result of Typhoon Haiyan. November’s catastrophe claimed over 4,000 lives and displaced 4 million more. Her response to the crisis, and the generosity of the people of the Deise, is now set to aid hundreds, perhaps thousands of the worst affected.
