Monthly Focolare youth meetings in Belfast City Centre go virtual!!!
Every third Wednesday of the month a group of young adults meet for a “time-out” in the busy lives of being a student or worker. “We take the monthly thought on the ‘Word of Life’ written by the founder of the Focolare, Chiara Lubich to be inspired by the Words of the Gospel.We chat and share about our own thoughts and experiences on it,” says one participant.

Pope responds to newspaper’s questions on faith
“Without the Church I would never have been able to meet Jesus,” Pontiff states.
God is not an idea. He does not depend on our thoughts, but is a reality with a capital ‘R’, Pope Francis wrote in an Italian daily newspaper this week in what is seen as opening a dialogue with non-believers.

Congratulations to Bishop Denis Nulty
On Sunday 4th August Fr. Denis Nulty was ordained as Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin, the diocese where Focolare Centre in Curryhills is located. The Focolare was delighted to be present at the beautiful ceremony in Carlow Cathedral.
