#Do you care? – A weekend for young people.

The IS attacks in Paris and brutal murders of hostages in Syria, has created new tensions in Islamic communities, and between Moslems and Christians. In the wake of what is widely seen as a step backwards in the path of interreligious dialogue, comes a weekend in London for young people dedicated to Multiculturism and Dialogue called Regenerate.
“Recent events have shown us how important dialogue is, and how we have to take a strong stand to demonstrate our belief that we are all brothers and sisters and that unity is possible,” said Santi, a young Spanish student who is participating at the event.
On 13th February a group of young people from Ireland will travel to the UK to participate in the event.

In memory of Sister Anna (1917-2015)
Nominated for the Nobel Peace prize in 2005 Sister Anna led an extraordinary life. Sadly we learnt of her death yesterday. She was 97. Recently two focolarine visited her where she was living near Oxford. An article on their meeting and about Sister Anna’s life is published in New City magazine this month. We share with you this article in loving memory of this wonderful lady. May she rest in peace.
