In an environment which is as fragmented and divided as the one we live in, we are often called to go towards the unknown, towards the peripheries. We are called to go out, sometimes even outside of ourselves, to enter the wounds of humanity. This is the testimony that comes to us from the neighbourhood of Yungay in Santiago, Chile.
Weaving fraternal relationships
The 28th October, 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of “Nostra Aetate,” the Second Vatican Council’s declaration on the Church’s relationships with non-Christian religions. After six decades, the document which has inspired and guided the steps of interreligious dialogue, invites us to renew our commitment to continue to build relationships of genuine brotherhood.
