The Fazenda da Esperança is one of the 47 activities involved in the first phase of the next Genfest, in which young people will be invited to make a concrete commitment to some social organisations which are already operating in the various areas. The “Seed Funding” programme aims to promote initiatives for an integral ecology within Focolare communities, aiming to change lifestyles to pay greater attention to the environment. Ten projects were funded in the 2025-26 round.
“Restarting the Economy”, a global meeting of young people who will discuss issues of the present day and of the future in relation to Creation. A report on measuring the state of fraternity in the world will be presented for the first time.
Acting as a network, both locally and internationally, to promote a culture of peace rooted in responsibility, collaboration and the inclusion of the new generations: this is the message that emerged from the conference held in Kenya entitled “Cities, Communities, Care-Youth in Action for Sustaining Peace”, organized by New Humanity, the NGO of the Focolare Movement.
