Human trafficking: taking action for justice

Feb 13, 2026

Message from Margaret Karram for the Online Pilgrimage of Prayer – for the 12th World Day of Prayer and Reflection against Human Trafficking, 8 February 2026

Dear friends,

Greetings to everyone on behalf of the Focolare Movement worldwide, as we join in prayer for this digital pilgrimage. Together with all of you, we want to raise our voices to God to ask for an end to human trafficking and to affirm the dignity of every human being:

United, let us continue to pray and act for justice.
Thank you to each and every one of you for being part of this chain of hope and of love that is stretching across the world.

Margaret Karram

The “Co-citizens of Loppiano” is an association born from those who spent a significant period of their lives in Loppiano (Incisa Val d ‘Arno, Italy), the Little Town of the Focolare Movement. Its mission is to support Loppiano, cooperating with its Governance, so that it can continue to be a point of hope, a place of witness and a centre of universal fraternity, just as Chiara Lubich envisioned it.
