When the Gospel, The Word of Life, if put into practice, produces changes in us and around us that generate a more fraternal atmosphere..
The Word of Life of that month indicated which model of life to adopt: “Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 2:5)  

He  explained that “he was overwhelmed” – that Jesus reduced himself – to reach the smallest, the weakest, and then raise him up.
He continued…..Lately I have had little experience of  self annihilation….. I have stopped being simple….. I realized that I had kept many unnecessary things.
The other day when I opened the closet and looked at various things, I said to myself, “Enough! I don’t use it, I don’t use it, I don’t use it, I don’t use it, I can give it to someone else…“.
Then I remembered Hector, a great man who lives alone in a house near where I work and where he worked until retirement, so I made up a parcel and brought it to him.
“Hector, I’ve brought these clothes for you,  if you don’t want them pass them on to whoever you want…...”.
Two days later on a very cold morning, Hector came to thank me, he was wrapped in a scarf that I recognized as well as the thick pullover he wore.
Hector said…”Look, I have kept everything except the hats, the checked shirts and the white ones which I passed on to my brother because they were too big for me.
This is for you, I know you like grapefruit. They’re very good, I picked them  this morning for you. They are on the trees and nobody eats them…“.
