What began as a birthday celebration became an opportunity to build bridges of solidarity and friendship across continents. Deeply touched by a visit to the Magnificat project in Nairobi, Erica decided to turn her 50th birthday into a meaningful act of sharing, inviting friends and family to support children and families living in one of Kenya’s largest informal settlements. Her story is a powerful reminder that even simple gestures can generate hope, strengthen human connections, and inspire a culture of fraternity.

On May 19, at the Camera dei Deputati, the book Are You Really There for Me? Caring for the Couple’s Bond was presented, dedicated to the value of emotional relationships and married life. The presentation concluded with a dialogue between the author and the audience and with the presentation of the project “Paths of Light” for couples in difficulty.
