[more]Showcasing the strength of the Catholic movement to care for creation, hundreds of thousands of Catholics participated in Laudato Si’ Week 2021, a 10 day-celebration held from 16-25 May.
Catholics, inspired by the week’s theme, “for we know that things can change” (LS 13), joined online Laudato Si’ Dialogues and hosted events in their communities that helped their sisters and brothers deepen their knowledge of Pope Francis’ hopeful but urgent message in Laudato Si’.

The vocation of the familyAvailable now: the third video of the Holy Father in dialogue with families
“With the same look of tenderness and mercy that Jesus had, the Church wants to accompany families so that every family might be a pillar of evangelization. I would like to say one thing to you: with the sacrament of matrimony, every family receives the Grace to become a light in the darkness of the world.” – says Pope Francis in the first of 10 videos which promotes the “Amoris Laetitia Family” Year.
This publication now brings together in a single printable digital version the 10 guides, accompanying the special edition with the collection of 10 videos of the pope in dialogue with families (already individually available on the website www.amorislaetitia.va).
With these words the Holy Father introduces us to the theme of the education of children, which is “a call, a challenge, a joy”.
Developed within the Focolare Movement, Up2Me has been piloted so far in 28 countries. It grew from the need frequently expressed by children and youth who find themselves facing big issues like life, health, sexuality, modern life styles, emotions, future life choices … without adequate tools to deal with them.
The Holy Father speaks about “foreverness” in marriage, in this fifth video of the 10-part series prepared as part of the celebration of the «Amoris Laetitia Family» Year. This time Pope Francis addresses himself particularly to spouses.
“Don’t be afraid to fail: fear is the greatest obstacle to welcoming Christ and His plan for our lives! Be careful of fear!”, the Holy Father powerfully warns us.
It goes through different seasons and expresses itself in always new ways
