You are invited to join us for Robert Barron’s acclaimed course on Catholicism beginning on Wed 11th September 2013 and continuing every two weeks at The Focolare Centre, Curryhills House, Prosperous, Co. Kildare from 8.00pm to 9.30pm.
Format: DVD presentation followed by group discussions over tea/coffee.
Contributions appreciated on the night to cover cost of course materials, refreshments and venue.
The course will cover such topics as: Both God and Human, Jesus is Lord, Gathering the Tribes of Israel, Cleansing the Temple of God, Dealing with the Enemies of Israel, Reigning as Lord of the Nations, The Path of Joy, The Beatitudes. The Parable of the Prodigal Son (Lk 15:11-32), Matthew 25, The Mystery of God, The Five “Ways” and the Argument from Contingency, Ratzinger’s Argument from Intelligibility, Naming God, The Provident Creator, The Problem of Evil, The Trinity, The Meaning of It All. The course will continue biweekly starting on 15th January 2014.
