In October 2016 the Focolare Centre, Curryhills, hosted the second of this year’s retreat weekends for young adults. Attended by over thirty young people from across the island, the weekend gave time for meditation, spiritual contemplation and discussion.

Young Irish at international project in Jordan

Three Irish people went to Jordan recently to explore with their peers in Syria and Iraq the situation in the Middle East. 

They joined 55 young people, both from the East and the West, in a project to understand the complex situation from all perspectives and how they might create together a social campaign for peace in Middle East.
