The Pope’s call during the Angelus on Sunday 6th September 2015 stirred consciences to open the doors of parishes, religious communities, monasteries and convents, to take in refugees. The Focolare Movement’s thanks and response to Pope Francis’ appeal.

in the Church of Saints Columbanus and Gall, Milltown
A strong perfume of incense greeted people entering the Church for attending the ecumenical prayer in the first World Day of Prayer for all Creation; a beautiful iconostasis served was a fitting backdrop to the Service which was accompanied by instrumental music and beautiful singing.
A deep recollection and solemnity in the whole service.
During his incisive homily Archbishop Diarmuid Martin underlined the “ecumenicity” of our ecological involvement as Christians.
