Castel Gandolfo, Rome: Congress for adherents of the Focolare Movement

The theme: "Jesus Forsaken: Window of God; Window for humanity"

Subsequent to the congress held on 27-29 January 2017, a second edition will be held at the International Mariapolis Centre in Castel Gandolfo (Rome) on 6-8 April 2017 from Thursday morning to Saturday lunch. Arrival can be on 4th April, or the evening 5th April (for those who have requested, there is the possibility to participate in the audience with Pope Francis on Wednesday 5th April). The theme of the Congress: “Jesus Forsaken: Window of God; Window for humanity”.

On the morning of 10th August, the earthly journey of Dr. Kala Acharya ended. She was a deeply committed Hindu who was engaged in interreligious dialogue, and had a profound relationship with Chiara Lubich.
In a letter expressing her condolences, Margaret Karram, President of the Focolare Movement wrote, “With her spiritual sensitivity and her great human depth, she helped our Movement to understand every more fully the universal dimension of Chiara’s charism. With discretion, expertise and passion, she accompanied us in re-reading many of our founder’s insights from new perspectives”.
