The Loreto School, the freshness of the first 40 years.
This year five families from four continents are attending the school, which was inaugurated by Chiara Lubich, who also indicated the name “Loreto”. Since 1982, 500 others have participated, while almost 1,500 families have stayed for shorter periods.
The Focolare Movement is a partner of the Laudato Si’ Movement for the Care of Creation. Tomas Insua, the Executive Director, speaks of the great synergy in the commitment to improve our common home.

At the School of Families which took place after the Family Highlights event in Loppiano, the Dice of Affection was launched in Castel Gandolfo from March 13 to 17, 2017. It was an idea born from the everyday life of a family. We invite you to “play” with us everyday, this game involving the whole family. Developed within the Focolare Movement, Up2Me has been piloted so far in 28 countries. It grew from the need frequently expressed by children and youth who find themselves facing big issues like life, health, sexuality, modern life styles, emotions, future life choices … without adequate tools to deal with them.

Family: Light for Humanity was the motto of the meeting for families at Mendoza, on Saturday 27th May , for the 50 th. Anniversary of the New Families Movement.
