General Assembly 2026: contributions from the new generations
The journey towards the 2026 General Assembly of the Focolare Movement really involves everyone. Here are some contributions from the new generations, in particular we will hear the voice of some gen4, gen3 and gen2 (the children, adolescents and young people of the Focolare) from various countries of the world.

New Course: embodying synodality in the realities in which we live
Beginning on 3rd November, 2025, for the fourth year in a row, the Evangelii Gaudium Centre (CEG) of the Sophia University Institute will offer a synodality training course on synodality entitled “Practices for a Synodal Church”. It is a text designed to grow richer through the experience and contributions of all those involved in the fields of education and formation.
Safeguarding: the participation of the whole Church is necessary
Presentation of the second worldwide Annual Report of the Catholic Church on Church Policies and Procedures for Safeguarding. The pilot methodology has been applied by the Pontifical Commission for the first time to the Focolare Movement.

Nostra Aetate: 60 years of journeying in Interreligious Dialogue
The 28th October, 2025 marks the 60th anniversary of “Nostra Aetate,” the Second Vatican Council’s declaration on the Church’s relationships with non-Christian religions. After six decades, the document which has inspired and guided the steps of interreligious dialogue, invites us to renew our commitment to continue to build relationships of genuine brotherhood.
