傅瑪利在結束覲見教宗後表示：「大家閒話家常！」她又說：「教宗向我們透露他所關注的是要投身和共融的基督信仰。」
會長繼續說：「教宗方濟各特別重視福音化的生活。他更鼓勵我們以勇毅和喜樂勇往直前，因為一個基督徒缺少了喜樂，就一無所有。為此，基督信仰是要投身的、共融的和喜樂的。」
在接見中，他們談到普世博愛運動在世界各地不同範疇上所進行的舉措，顯出了各方面突出的建樹。
傅瑪利補充說：「教宗方濟各又感謝我們普世博愛運動在全球各地所做的一切。」
會長和協同會長有機會陳述運動中不同層面上所付出的努力，從最微小的具體行動做起，例如：給予敘利亞許多地區的家庭和青年，提供物質和精神上的幫助；與中國進行文化的交流；與佛教、回教和猶太教展開各大宗教的交談；巴西主教團為那遼闊土地的福傳工作而發起『亞馬遜』計劃；非洲不同國家因戰爭引起的創傷，卻能作出寬恕與和解的見證；在西方國家大城市的社區裡重振手足情誼的關係與守望相助；在社會上推行大膽的舉措，如共融經濟等。
傅瑪利向教宗講及他們剛結束的約旦之行，與中東和北非普世博愛運動團體見面的情況，大家在這些日子，處於緊張與不明朗的局勢下的經驗。9月7日，他們與那些在安曼出席聚會的成員一起祈禱和禁食。成員們分別隸屬於不同的教派和宗教。傅瑪利又表示：「從中可見教宗對全人類抱著非常寬宏開放的態度，他希望藉著祈禱擁抱全人類。當然，中東也包括在內！」
傅瑪利總括說：「從教宗對我們說的話中，就可知道，他很重視教友屬於運動團體。他談及一個或另一個情況時， 認為最重要的是得到運動團體的支持，可見教宗再次認同運動團體有能力首先鞏固福音化生活的根基。」
