Local Focolare communities are clusters of people who have the spirituality of unity close at heart.
Living it out in our everyday lives, we work for peace, tolerance and understanding to grow in our surroundings, families and the wider society.
This includes our own projects, as well as those in collaboration with others, such as in local parishes and schools, or volunteering in environmental projects or social outreach groups.
We organise walks, picnics, young peoples’ activities, time for reflection or faith sharing.
Family celebrations are often shared with the whole community, everybody has a contribution to make and diversity is reflected in all areas, because unity is not uniformity, but a coming together in openness, seeking dialogue and welcoming one another unreservedly with evangelical love.
